Check out this beautiful meadallion quilt.  Deanna emailed me after she discovered the site and I'm so pleased she did.  This magnificant medallion looks like a lot of fun to make. It's complex but I'm certain that any intermediate piecer could make this quilt with some time and patience.  At first glance it looks like beautiful curves but it's really well places squares and rectangles which I think it wonderful.  Go check it out!
